Everett Hoag, principal fashion and costume designer, and our staff of Studio artisans build richly-detailed costumes, wigs and hats to offer your special projects a complete menu of rental costuming production services. 

We are keenly observant of authenticity, historical value, and overall dramatic impact. 

FSC is involved in the creation of high-quality classic and contemporary themed theatrical costumes for the entertainment business - special events, stage shows, television productions, independent films and cross-media platforms worldwide.  Our stock consists of costumes built for 45 years of FSC productions. We have period clothing from ancient times up to the present.

• We work by appointment for all rental business, including returns. Please call us any time you need to visit the Studio at 401.413.6874.
• All prospective clients should be prepared to provide complete information to Staff with all of their costume requirements and their production dates. 
• Our minimum rental period is one week.
• We will hold items in reserve for up to two months, if we have the space.
• This merchandise is not for sale. It is for rental purposes only.

We just love those custom projects for conventions, conferences, and other special events. If we don't have it, we'll make it, and we'll make it to fit. Ours are not the pre-packaged dime-store apparel and costumes that you find everywhere else. Although we have some high quality manufactured pieces, most of our apparel and costumes are custom designed and hand made with care and attention to detail on our premises in Rhode Island. From the feather in your hat to the rubies in your shoes, we provide everything you need - clean, pressed, and personally fitted.

If you are a stylist or an event planner and need to get costumes for a photo shoot, film or television program, you can make an appointment to look through our stock and we'll put a special commercial package together based upon you specific needs. 

If you need costumes for a nonprofit organization (this includes theater groups, churches, schools, and community organizations), you can receive a nonprofit discount if you follow a few guidelines.

• We don't provide fitting space, so you need to send one person (costume designer), armed with measurements, to go through our stock.
• Nonprofit rentals are self-service, so the costume designer should have their research in order so they know what they need.
• We do not allow trying on of costumes in our racks.
• We do allow you to pull extra costumes so you have choices in fittings. If you bring back what you don't want to use before your opening or event date, we will take those items off of your invoice.
